Sunday Fun-Day!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to write a brief blog post on this weekend and all the going ons.

I finally came up with an amazing idea for Holiday themed minis which include cookies and milk, and who doesnt LOVE cookies and milk? Well I am sure someone does not but *cough....I may not want to be besties with you ;P.

I was supposed to 2nd shoot a wedding on Saturday with Magnolia Photography but unfortunately my daughter woke up with an extremely high fever and a nasty virus. Thankfully by the grace of God she was feeling much better Sunday, at least well enough to go to a sitter so I could get some work done!

Four sessions today! Whew. It was a lot but I enjoyed every one of them. What is even better is that I made a new friend, hopefully a repeat client, and I got to see some great friends that are already clients today.

It was such a beautiful day! Finally is starting to feel like Fall here in NC and I could not be happier.

Without further ado.... a couple of sneak peeks from my four sessions.

In order of session:

Nate and Hannah Weber  (Long time family friends and clients. I absolutely adore these kids and I cant believe Nate will be 18 soon, cue tear of feeling old)

Jack and his pups: Jack and Coco are pictured. Leslie their mother :D, wanted to make sure we captured Coco since Coco is sick and my not be around too much longer. Let's just say I wanted to take them all home, Jack included. Coco and Jack were joined by Coco's brother Roadie today as well and will be featured later.

Cami and Chris: I actually met Cami through Blush Boudoir and a mutual friend Sarah. We have become friends and I am so excited and honored to have been asked to photograph their little family. The dogs are SO CUTE and fluffy!! Needless to say I had a great pup day!

Last but certainly not least, the Smith family! I met Allison a few years ago at a friends wedding and then by chance met Gabe randomly and we realized we both new Allison lol. They got married and had two beautiful baby boys together and I am super excited to finally photograph this gorgeous family. I mean...they are all stunning!! Of course we had to include a little parent time as well ;P.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek and I will try and do separate blog posts later this week.

Silvis Family

I have been photographing the Silvis family for almost 4-5 years.... I think .... Let us just say it has been a wonderful road together and I am so excited to share this little sneak peek of their growing and beautiful family.

You will not find more genuine people who are so in love and are absolutely gorgeous from the inside and out.

Oh and the kids ROCK! I love seeing how amazing they are with their little brother who didn't even exist yet when I first met this family and watching the sisters relationship grow is beyond amazing.

Jacquee + Magnum

Welcome to a short and sweet blog post about Mr. and Mrs. McCrae.

One thing you have to know about these two is that they are the SWEETEST people. From the moment we met on Skype I knew we would get along splendidly and it helped that her mother's name is Emma as well. Another thing you have to know is that they own their own successful business,  Live Well Fitness Team and are competitive in the BodyBuilding and Fitness Model circuit. Pretty much, they are just a slam dunk duo. She also made her own dress, all of it, and her veil!

This was a beautiful intimate wedding but it was full of laughter, tears of joy and love, lots of love.... oh and Mrs. Emma's cooking.... SO GOOD! Visit Emma's Kitchen immediately!!

Enjoy the little sneak peek!

Wesley + Jack

I got the immense pleasure of capturing Wesley and Jacks special day on Oct. 15 2016. I first spoke with Wesley just a few short weeks before her wedding when a good friend of ours and my second shooter for the day, connected us when her wedding plans changed.

You could tell automatically what an amazing person she was and how in love her and Jack were. It can be daunting walking into someones wedding day never having met them in person  but I was welcomed with open arms!

The love and support of the two families were immense and I cant wait to see what the future holds for Wesley and Jack.

Enjoy a few sneak peeks!

Porshia Hernandez Photography

I AM SO EXCITED to post this blog about my dear friend Porshia. She has been such an inspiration to me and many others in the short amount of time that she has been a photographer.

She is an incredible friend, strong lover of Christ, mother to two beautiful boys, wife to a "hot" Puerto Rican and the most amazing lifestyle photographer. To be able to photograph someone you look up to, is an amazing opportunity and one you don't take lightly.

I hope you enjoy this teaser as much as I do!

Babb|Bernatz Wedding (10.6.16)

Hurricane Matthew tried its hardest to dampen this wedding day. Thankfully due to amazing people and family members the couple, my family, were able to move the wedding date up a day. We still got a little damp during the ceremony but all in all, it was a brilliant move that worked out perfectly.

The groom, is my cousin Lathan and is like a brother to me. Thank goodness he brought Kaitlyn into my life :D and of course his own, lol. They are so completely in love but still such a real couple. She is a brilliant mother to Finley, Lathan's daughter and such a beautiful soul.

Enjoy a sneak peek of the getting ready portion of this wedding.

Cheyenne + Tim

Photographing another photographer is always daunting but I LOVE IT! Besides the fact that Cheyenne and Tim were straight naturals and Holly gave us her good side constantly, lol, photographers just get "it". Posing, pauses while my brain plays out the next move, when something just isn't working and they are not afraid to move or tell me, lol.

I am always extremely grateful when another photographer trusts me with their portraits. Especially when that photographer is leaving soon and wants her portraits done at one of her favorite spots to shoot. Make sure to check out Cheyenne Rickley Photography when you get the chance!! Her work is stunning <3.

We had a brilliant time and somehow magically didn't have any rain for over an hour on a day where it just wouldn't stop!

Enjoy the little sneak peek I've put together!

PS She just turned 21!! Happy BIRTHDAY Cheyenne!!
